CS:Source, CS:CZ($40 game), and HL2($50 game) come with the $10 a month per computer. Flaming a LAN center because they pay a comercial licence is pretty dumb since if we didn't pay it then we wouldn't have all these good Valve games for our customers... also, Valves charges aren't nearly as much as Blizzard games, thank god. :)

Uh, I don't know what you were reading but my post was certainly NOT a flame. Oh and, as I understand it (from browsing the forums in steam) many cafe owners are pretty pissed with this and are just going to use the old HL out of the box without steam. No monthly fee, and all the mods via LAN for free! BLAMMO!

Ok, calm down buddy I was merely pointing out that while they pay thousands of dollars a year, most people like me get the same thing for one low price. Therefore leading to my other point, VALVe doesn't really care for the community. It's all about the $$$

Can't wait to finally see it and run around in their new virtual world. Only drawback I foresee is...I hate Dust. lol. After the BETA I will be so sick of Dust I may never step into a Dust server again. Thats actually why I'm kinda' glad it's Dust they are using. No matter what map they were to release for this test, we'd all be sick of looking at the one map after a couple of weeks. So I'm glad they are using a map I'm already sick of. No point in ruining another one for me.

Over the past few weeks, I have seen countless people castigate my country beyond belief through these comment forums. I have witnessed time and time again a plethora of people complain, whine, nag, complain some more, moan, and commit other immature acts against a company that is working around the clock to ensure the utmost in quality of their FREE BETA of a game (along with other projects) for you people and you people only. What have I learned? I quit on that after realizing how much faith I have lost in humanity. *ends himself

This isnt any kind of business. Valve is releasing a game which is an update to the most popular online game in the world. Sure it's hard, but this is what comes with success.

it's really sad how you think CSnation comments reflect the maturity of humanity itself. We are probably the most immature bunch at the bottom of the shit can and im glad to be part of it. So before ending yourself, can you send me you CZ cd key so I can play the BETA when it comes out?

I'm not sure what you mean when you say, "This isn't any kind of business" but I'll agree that there's always room for improvement. Specifically, I think Valve needs a little help in the PR department. However, there's a huge difference between stating this belief, and openly declaring a hatred for a company that provides seemingly endless support for its products, and the community.

what i mean by that quote is that valve affects much more people than any other small developer. By delaying a highly anticipated game, they should know that people will be pissed off. Knowing this, they should make more wiser PR decisions in the future.

I dont run a business, if I did I wouldnt ever give a release date unless I knew I was going to meet it, maybe Valve should try that.

Stop sucking Valve's dick because they 'support their games'. CS is supported because it's so popular, not visa versa. If they didn't patch one of the most played games in the world, it would be pretty stupid.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that, thats the best news I have heard since a couple weeks ago. And I'm quite proud of there progress so far.. And yeah I do believe that they will give it to us CZ owners a week later. Which is still cool.

I refuse to pay to play CS:S... That is a load of Bullshit. We are goign to pay enough for HL2 as it like probably 50 odd bucks. And then charge us fucking more money for CS:S and then a monthly fee for BS servers that don't always work. That is suck fucking crap. Valve if you read this. I will never give you one penny to pay to play one of your games. I refuse....

I don't know where you're getting your info. CSS is free with HL2.
