They will, you know why? They make money, by managing a large LAN, which in turn means they get paid for maintaining the lan servers and get to basically play games for a living.

I work at a game company, and I can honestly tell you there are almost no game companies anywhere that deliver games on time. The exceptions are those companies that release a date only when the product is already finished. There are too many production variables to accurately predict a finish date. Cut them some slack, and I'm sure CS:Source is going to be great.

I DO!!!At the cafe i work at they pay $$10 a month per computer, and we get ALL THE GAMES FROM VALVE, INCLUDING the upcoming HL2:SOURCE AND CS:SOURCE...

lol, he just tried to flame lan centers? At our cafe we pay already, and would have to pay even if HL2/CS:Source wasn't coming out. CS:Source, CS:CZ($40 game), and HL2($50 game) come with the $10 a month per computer. Flaming a LAN center because they pay a comercial licence is pretty dumb since if we didn't pay it then we wouldn't have all these good Valve games for our customers... also, Valves charges aren't nearly as much as Blizzard games, thank god. :)

One thing to remember, there have been no delays here whatsoever. The August 5th, 10th dates weren't official. What is official is Cliffe said early August for cafe owners and he was right. Obviously, us CZ owners we won't be waiting more than 14 more days so spare me the whining. There was never an official date and there was never a delay, we'll be playing in no more than 2 weeks, just like Cliffe said.
