Wow, in case you didn't realise, that was an interview with one person, not the entire team, and you're all going ahead and calling them all cocky fags etc. Watching the TsN interview after the match, Hyper and Iskall seemed fine, mainly trying to take in the fact that they won CPL. And face it, cpl_mill has been played more by CAL-i teams than European teams, as it has featured in CAL for a while, whereas it rarely, if ever, makes an apperance in SEL or any other top european leagues.

I think the fact that they did just win CPL, beating SK 13-5, does give them the right to be a little self-confident. Can't really blame Divino for getting caught up in the moment.

And that comment about hoping they play coL... you do realise where coL placed this CPL? It's not a good team, and won't be for a while yet.

we all know who said that (hopefully)
Know who said it? I doubt most Americans even know who he is.

Don't say a word about cpl maps if you talk about SK..they are euro too...and OBVIOUSLY coL isnt that good, thats why im saying i hope that they beat EYE an show those cock fuckers =) i didnt want sk to win because they always win, but then i realised, they are the better team, and dont get so cocky about it, even if just ONE player from EYE was a snob, thats still a huge deal..its fuckin 20% of them

Okay, I'm sorry, but this talk about cpl_mill is getting old. It is a CPL event. They use their cpl_ maps. Everyone knows it. Americans play four matches on Mill each CAL season; that's four matches in six months. Big freaking deal. I would also contend that American clans take those weeks in CAL much less seriously than they do other weeks (i.e. fewer scrims, less attention to tactics). Now either the Euro (and other) teams scrim the hell out of mill before CPL or they are idiots. Every CPL teams are made or broken on Mill. Everyone knows that. Europeans often have to play Americans on Mill. Everyone knows that. Until this year, Mill often lived in the losers' bracket, where teams had no margin for error. That point is that either teams prepare for the maps they know are being used well ahead of time or they willfully choose not to. If they don't practice, they deserve to lose. Either they foolishly didn't prepare or they just ran into a better team. Regardless of which it is, they have no right to make lame excuses.

And I'm glad SK lost. Too bad that one EYE player seems to be an asshat.

Where the heck is the LAN-recorded HLTV demo?

Most of us are used to it by now, no big deal. I don't think anyone was expecting 3D, TSG or Rival to win it. Rival did suprise me as they're not very impressive I've lanned with them at Rival cafes, and I havn't seen them play extraordinary at tournaments. Maybe I just underestimated them, but they did very well.

I think TSG's wins at ESWC were flukes, they've gone back to their old unimpressive selves, and 3D remains mediocre.

I don't mind seeing Euros beat Americans one bit. Like I said before, I'm just happy D1E didn't win.

During the 3D vs. EYE match, Hyper said the following when taking down three 3D-members on catwalk: "Is it hard? It does not seem like that hard"

In the film where EYE recieves the check, EYE's screaming out loud, "DAMN, so easy!"

                  Cocky? or just the best?

[sarcasm] yup all of us giving our opinions that they are cocky are Americans, we are bitter about always losing at everything we do, you caught us. Damn time to move on to plan B. [/sarcasm]

Whether it was 1 person or not speaking when you are a team everyone reflects on the team as a whole, you are only as good as your weakest link. But ofcourse it very could just be this one person right, who makes the comments then is the one responsible for all the laughter afterwards. Nothing like laughing at your own jokes eh?

These kids should watch out who's asses they alienate on their way up. It will be the same asses they will have to kiss on the way back down. There's always someone better than you over the next horizon.

Hey wait a second, im a Swede and i know im very participate in this matter but does'nt EYE only this time, after winning a CPL have the right to be a little cocky? I mean come on, have any clan talked so much shit as NoA has during the past half year? "Second place is not an option". Even when Element was in the Swedish clan SK i didnt like him. His a young brat without manners who never have done a serious interview?! He thought that SK pracced to much and that he didnt need that, Hey how did it go for NoA at the CPL an at th ESWC?

I dont now the guys in EYE but i have read a lot of interviews, especially with Hyper, and they all seem to be intelligent well fitted teenagers. Not lousy brats! I understand that all you guys think so after this interview but i hope that this is the first, and last time EYE does like this. I guess they did this in a sense of happiness and that affected the whole thing.

And btw, i think, or rather know that EYEballers is here to stay. Get used to it =)

Ps: Divino is the manager for EYE, strange that he does this kind of statement when he's even not a player... But i push at this point once againg, the members of EYE is'nt Cooky teenagers. And even if the where i dont think some of the threats here are necessary, do you?

ofcourse they can be cocky, they won the CPL the only thing is if they continue displaying themselves as they did in that one interview then they are setting themselves up for a big fall. When the time comes and they lose they can expect to get what they have given ten fold, it seems they already have a following of people determined to see them lose after that interview and while some will agree with them there are plenty of others who will be rooting against them now.

no, they are one of the few teams to have gotten paid for TRAINING NONSTOP at a computer game.
