Know what's funny? Dolts who say they hate Valve, aren't interested in HL2 nor CS:S and yet, they step into CSnation to check out all the news they can about both. They are either lying to us (or themselves) or they are the kind of fool who says they hate Football and go buy Season tickets just so they can tell the fans around them how much better Baseball is and how much they hate Football.

I personnally don't care when Valve releases it. I'll buy it when they are done. Meanwhile, Condition Zero is satiating me just fine, Thank you.

Yes csn has a habit of not giving credit to its news submitters. I just wouldnt bother submitting at all in future.

Oh yes. It is oh so important to get credit for being first to report a gaming newsbit. We all know that's where the Associtated Press finds their budding new journalists.....by trolling the gaming websites.

The mighty (leaky) Valve SHOCKS and AMAZES the gaming world with the arrogant remarks that they will blow everyone away AND have it in everyones hands in 3-4 short months (September 30th, 2003). Not another word was said. A week before delivery, deals off.
ZZzzzzZzzzzz..- Uh... what were you trying to say? Sorry... I kinda fell asleep there....

No, in all seriousness, you'd HAVE to be a fanboy to be disappointed by THAT. It's a fucking game that got delayed because their PR department is a total joke. So let's bash the entire game company because of it! Yeah! That'll do the trick! *Rolls eyes*

Then the theft. They say; it's going to take several months to replace the stolen netcode to keep the hackers at bay. I'm not the brightest chap in the world, but if the system was LIVE and this code was compromised, would we just be permafucked with hackers for SEVERAL MONTHS until the code was fixed? Especially considering their totally fucking awesome (sic) delivery platform. If so, they need help, big help.
I can no longer see how this is even relevant. WE ALREADY KNOW THE TRUTH, DAMNIT, SO WHY KEEP PUSHING IT?!

Meanwhile, deals are getting struck left and right. Specifically, with video cards that will be far from the top of the line when the game finally does come out. Ain't that a bitch?
They're STILL close to top-of-the-line. Far from being outdated in any way. And they're STILL quite capable of running the game flawlessly. Yeah, that's a real bitch. *rolls eyes*

It's not a "habit." It's policy. We typically get the same news item from at least 3 sources. That means two people are going to be pissed off on average for every news post we make. That's not good numbers.

If you see a post on CS-Nation that credits a submitter for news, it's a mistake, and you should inform us about it.

err yea, I'm dumping my 9800xt because I'm way behide the curve now... besides which you're acting like people buy video cards to play 1 game. just because hl2 didn't come out last year, didn't mean I wasn't enjoying ut2004 fly on my new card.

If that's the case, you should probably remove that automatic parenthesis (news submitted by xxxxx) that the news submission form has built in?
