heh....I enjoy single player games....why would you not? I just bought Far Cry, I'm enjoying the single player a lot, the multiplayer kinda sux tho.
If you arent into single player...why buy HL2? No one plays HL deathmatch and crap, everyone plays CS (mulitplayer!!!). Pretty much anyway. Arent they gonna release HL2 and CS:S seperate...as well as together? Thats what i heard atleast.
So yes, I will enjoy DOOM 3 single player....I'm very sure. I luved the only doom when there are like 100000000 monsters coming at you all at once....fun fun fun.Comment

At least iD was honest about their delays, and even right now as we speak they are having legal trouble with Creative over a shadowing technique. But God (Carmack) has smiled upon us and decided that they wont delay the release date and punish us, he will deal with the legal trouble later and we can still play Doom3 in 5 days.
Anyway, for the guy who is bashing single player games, are you going to tell me you didn't have an ass load of fun playing Super Mario Bros? iD has put a lot of time into making this game very good, long, detailed, scary, and it will be a great expierience. The "4 Player" multiplayer was the speculation some time ago. Carmack himself has said that the game can support more players,
To sum it up, I stopped caring about HL2. I'm not excited for it anymore. In my eyes vALVE has stepped into higher gear recently with the CS:S promotions and etc, but I lost a lot of trust and confidence in them. When Half-Life 2 it comes out, I'll buy it whenever I get around to it, I'm not gonna bother preordering and praying for it any longer.
A little side note, some guy walked into an EB Games and put money down for a reserve on WoW, and EB handed him 50 dollars back. When he asked what it was, the manager said, "You gave us this five years ago as reserve for Team Fortress 2" Just thought that was a funny :)Comment
