"Wait in long lines?"
I'm going to Valve's off and threat to put WON back on... I don't want to play on Steam. I want to go and wait in long lines to get CS updates, and complain then about the updates.... Not steam, sigh... Why must they ruin the world for us as we know it
WHAT are you smoking man? There are no lines for the updates. Something tells me places like Fileplanet have eaten away at your thought processes.
Oh, and people complained about updates in WON as well. That's nothing new from the spoiled HL/CS community.Comment

Only if they bother to post the updates somewhere other than Steam.

Don't you get it? WON and 1.5 are yesterday's news. They aren't obligated to keep giving updates for pathetic WON users.
Go bitch at Ford because they won't keep making your Pinto parts or something. Geez.Comment

Take another look, dude. The guy was saying he prefers WON, and would rather wait in the old-school mirror lines than get the instant updates. I'm 99% sure he was being sarcastic.

it may be fair, but ISPs dont like customers uploading all the time. and face it, nobody here likes to upload since it degrades network performance a LOT.
The guy who made bittorrent is actually working on the Steam team.
I beleive that everyone should give data as they receive it, its only fair.Comment
