I'm going to Valve's off and threat to put WON back on... I don't want to play on Steam. I want to go and wait in long lines to get CS updates, and complain then about the updates.... Not steam, sigh... Why must they ruin the world for us as we know it

Oh, and people complained about updates in WON as well. That's nothing new from the spoiled HL/CS community.

Take another look, dude. The guy was saying he prefers WON, and would rather wait in the old-school mirror lines than get the instant updates. I'm 99% sure he was being sarcastic.

I beleive that everyone should give data as they receive it, its only fair.

it may be fair, but ISPs dont like customers uploading all the time. and face it, nobody here likes to upload since it degrades network performance a LOT.

well even though i use steam now, i have used WON since 1.3 and i never had any trouble with it, only when it was down once or twice. and lets not even talk about steam. Truely, the end of an era. >.< I miss WON!
