On a serious note, I'd love to know how these people think attacking Steam is going to get them WON back.

Just answer me this. How come we, Steam users, are 'stupid', and not you? Do you not think it's childish trying to bring down a major game devolper just because they stopped supporting a free platform? Do you not think it's childish to bitch and bitch about it instead of simply upgrading to the newer and superior free platform? Or if you really don't like it, why not just don't bother and go buy an XBox or PS2, most decent PC games get ported onto one of those two anyway. And frankly I'm guessing even an original PSX has a better system spec then whatever PC you're on.

They said in the other comments-thingy (by 'they', I mean that fuckwit up there) that it was in response to WON being closed. Aparently the idea is they'll keep attacking Steam until WON is bought back. Eejits.

Steam's been up pretty much all day aside from a brief period there. Get over yourself already. Your precious WON isn't returning any time soon.



Oh, and FYI: The dropping of the HL WON servers has jacksh*t to do with Homeworld. No one is going to cater to maybe 5 people who still play that game.

The bad thing is there is a chance many of the homophobic, racist, and generally stupid WON population will come over to Steam.



We should take advantage of this and put ads in Steam reminding them that the (American presidential) elections are on December 12th and that most herbal supplements do NOT contain carcinogens.

I've always had problems with WON ever since Steam Beta came out. I couldn't connect to servers, etc. So I just moved on to Steam Ah well, at least I can connect to servers now :P
