I don't think it would be much of a surprise if it's just the update for CS:S because we were told about that a while back (hence it's not a surprise).

I hope it's a HL2 DM mode. CS:S is good but I don't think it should be classed as the HL2 multiplayer mode because it's a nothing to do with HL.

Anyway I want to see a source version of crossfire with a real nuke and fire effects

Jeepathon2k with the buggy and the airboat from HL2 would be cool too :) (either in CS:S or HL2DM)

In my opinion, the most likely candidates are CSSource or HL2 DM. There's a way of setting up HL2 DM by using console commands, so I wouldn't be surprised if HL2 DM came out, seeing as how they only have to make an interface for it. On the other hand, it may be CSSource, since they've confirmed an large update on the way.

I think the key word is 'community'. I would assume 'community' is for all HL2 owners. So that nixes DOD Source. I think the 'public' would get a new product announcement like TF2, not the 'community'. The community in gerneral doesn't care about development tools, so I'm going with...
