The patch doesnt fix a whole lot because its your end thats the problem. Turn down your settings, just because you CAN run the game in high settings @ 16xfsaa and 8xaa, doesnt mean you SHOULD.

change your resolution if the settings thing doenst work. If yuo are 1024, go down to 800. If you are 800, go down to 640. I can get up to like 200 fps when Im at 640 with mixed medium and high settings. LoL it roxorz.Comment

1280x1024 @ all high settings. I just like eye candy. It runs pretty bad (fine fps, awful stuttering) and load times attrocious but its all good :)Comment

It's Half-Life 2 Deathmatch. I remember Gabe saying in an interview earlier this year that he played Half-Life 2 multiplayer everyday. Oh and another thing, there is a screenshot of DoD: Source. If you haven't seen it, here it is:
