    HL2 Newsbits

You can never set these babies on fire, and hear the blood curling screams as the face of death rears its ugly head no matter how hard you try. With that out of the way, lets begin another grand session of newsbits peppered with the mouth watering HL2 taste!
    • Primo Tech has written an excellent Half-Life 2 timeline that is a fine trip down from memory lane all the way to the infamous date of November 16, 2004. Check it out.

    • Our lovable friends from CSBANANA warns all Steam users of fake e-mail messages circulating which states the Steam database is down, and that your account name and password has to be stated for it to be spared. For our younger visitors out there, do not reply with your Steam account credentials or kiss your Gold account good bye. Thanks to CSBANANA.

    • While based solely from an "off-the-record" interview with GameReactor, a gaming periodical, according to SoGamed, Gabe Newell has suggested Half-Life 3 would be a likely candidate for a future development project in the dark shadowy chambers of Valve Software. With rave reviews from Joe Blow to the mainstream press and revenues soaring through the roof, it is quite a given that HL3 would be considered as the next Valve project. Regardless, check out some other bits Mr. Newell has hinted.
Another session of HL2 newsbits is just around the corner. Stay tuned!

ISPs need to hand out 'scam prevention' brochures to everyone who gets an internet connection. Seriously.

Since half life 3 is using source engine, estimating it will released about one and a half years later

Opps, forgot the first part. Yes HL3 will have a new engine. What do you think? By that time, we will have interactive headsets that you put on and play HL3 and games lol in vitural worlds and stuff. Man I want one of those for HL2

Next week we will be releasing the Source SDK, along with a surprise for the community.
                      I bet it's half-life 2 multiplayer. 70% sure.

Fix the fucking game first before releasing something new. It's like they are doing this on purpose to shift the focus from the apparent studdering problem to something "everyone will love" and in turn make VALVe all popular again.

These guys have been in business for so long because they are good at covering things up. They give us something "free" when the main product doesn't work and they can't fix it.

To be honest, I think if Valve actually had a worthwhile steam update for once in a while, people would be quiet. And by that I mean, who cares about an asian fonts fix ('fixed' 2 times), remember password bugs, and a lot of minor bugs that around 3% of the community actually have. Especially since there are major bugs that in fact should have been fixed a long long time ago.

I bet the "surprise" mentioned has something to do with Half-Life 2, since the whole post concerns Half-Life 2.

Why bother with HL3... when you can milk the franchise with expansions.
