Before you purchased the Premier Pack, Steam displayed a list of games that would be included. Counter-Strike was not on that list. I'm sorry that you did not notice that.

Seems to me that Valve is trying to kill CS off and make CZ into CS. I mean they don't give a lot of support to CS as much as CZ. Everything in CS source looks CZ.

i JUST made the connection. Valve is shutting down WON..meaning that a whole new bunch of people will be needing to DL steam. Then, when they type in their HL key...they ARENT going to get CS. This means everyone who just had HL, even those that were playing 1.5, are going to need to buy CS retail or CZ.

If theyre really going to try to charge 40 dollars thru Steam to get people without Steam accounts to be able to play CS, I doubt it will work.

we could all care less since there's half-life 2 and it might probably be bundled with counter-strike source hopefully.

VALVE is just trying to boost the sales of CZ. They couldn't get a lot of sales willingly so now they are forcing us. I can't really blame them though, it is a hell of a marketing idea. Everyone who wants to play CS:S beta now has to buy CZ. Anyone who wants to join the CS community (or just have to rejoin it do to certain mechanical aim malfunctions) now have to buy CZ.



Go Valve. Show Microsoft how its done.
