Geez, gotta love this, you say we're a burden to the community? It's because of sponsors and advertisers like ourselves that csnation is able to deliver the great content they do.

As for the person talking about fps, I'd love to have a chat with you on that topic, as extensive research has been done on server side fps. I can assure you 90% of all current counter-strike servers in the world run under 100 fps (which is the default physical limit for most OS's as well).

We try to offer a good performance to price ratio, as do some other major GSP's, that offer a similar price range as ourselves. If you'd like to pay over 60 USD for a 12 man private, be my guest, but unfortunately that's not an option for most people.

God, stop whining. You get a free server for 3 months, who cares about the FPS? As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. So consider yourselves lucky.

My two servers from unnamed providers run at 1,000 and 750 FPS constant. Yes I am aware after a certain number, anything higher doesn't matter. However, the servers run beautifully, they NEVER ping spike, most users can run with LAN rates with no choke or loss. The servers both run @ sys_ticrate 10000 with no issues at all. I pay less than 30 a piece for them.



GD and E7 (terrible btw) aren't the only server providers out there that offer "good" servers. There are many more providers that just remain low profile and choose not to reside on GameSurge.

Some have had good, some have had bad. Our promise to date has always been to offer both good service and quality servers. Until recently, we've never offered a "optimized" server offering. That's changing shortly.



I appreciate the rational comments of people like Shadow and Orion. The others, well.. you have way too much hate. I suggest expending some of that energy on something more useful!

yes gamedaemons used to be the best type of server but then slowly began going sluggish for some unknown reason, i've never tried a phxx server hopefully it's better.
