I dunno, but those screens really don't do the game justice. I saw them and thought...ugh..that is ugly as hell. Look how blurry those textures were and the models themselves are they great looking, just as bland as the old ass CS models...just higher poly count.

You're totally right. Modern games just don't look all that good without motion. Shaders, physics, animation, etc. are all cut off when you take a screenshot.

CS Source looks highly disappointing , I mean lets look at the facts , it's a HL2 Engine - look at #3 the guy is crouching like some sort of weird animal and don't even get me started on the detail , the model and gun models are so weakly modelled that that screenshot could have been taken in CZ , Just like in CZ they seem to have added this weird dotted effect to everything in CS:S , this looks set to be popular but don't expect any major graphical improvements other than minimal partical effects.
