I dunno, but those screens really don't do the game justice. I saw them and thought...ugh..that is ugly as hell. Look how blurry those textures were and the models themselves are they great looking, just as bland as the old ass CS models...just higher poly count.

Game looks much better in motion.

wow, look how horrible that shadow is on the second screenshot, ud think with all this tuning an shit for years they'd at least realize when the muzzle flash is goin off, ya dont really see the shadow

Is it just me, or do the player models in CS Source look a bit... Fat?
              Can you say realism? :)

You're totally right. Modern games just don't look all that good without motion. Shaders, physics, animation, etc. are all cut off when you take a screenshot.

You can use the stairs in aztec screenshot to replay the famous Rocky scene.

no one gets what i mean? when hes shootin the gun, the light of the muzzle flash should at least tone down the shadow if not remove it completely

CS Source looks highly disappointing , I mean lets look at the facts , it's a HL2 Engine - look at #3 the guy is crouching like some sort of weird animal and don't even get me started on the detail , the model and gun models are so weakly modelled that that screenshot could have been taken in CZ , Just like in CZ they seem to have added this weird dotted effect to everything in CS:S , this looks set to be popular but don't expect any major graphical improvements other than minimal partical effects.

                            isnt that just a nitpick?

yes and people should fall down randomly over tiny bumps in the terrain, cause you know, people fall down and stuff.

The player models aren't that good, I think the CZ models are way better, hell I'd like to see them redo the CZ models for CSS
