I doubt Sierra will close their site as they own it for the next millenium.

Sierra has been doomed for a long time , since the failure of the S.W.A.T series on the Xbox and huge losses in recent years.

They had a good run but after Half-Life Sierra just couldn't get it right.

yeah, true, best of luck to all the Seirra workers, worst part for them, getting laid off possibly?, who knows, but yeah, they did have a good run, and they tried their best, not all companies are here to stay around. We should remember to good stuff, and not worry :)

oooooh wordy excuses to justify lay offs :-) they never do come out and say "we suck and aren't making any money"
yeah, fucking hate CEO's and their 6 or 7 figure annual bonuses.

BTW anyone remember a really old sierra game (10 year old perhaps) where you build weird machines to blow things up, or just to solve some mechanical puzzles. played it on my 386, that was "teh shit" back then.

I'm not buying anything by Vivendi Universal.

                That includes Half-life 2 and CS:CZ.

I don't like the direction VU is taking Cs in.

If it had no effect on us why would it be on CS-Nation :-) lol I got the caps right...hehhe. Im just saying one shut down could lead to more shut downs.....and its never cool for people to lose their jobs.

Sorry for double but why woudlnt you buy HL2 man.......If you have been playing HL for a while (IF) I dont see why you wouldnt be wetting your pants to get HL2! If not just for CS source. And no dont get CS:CZ if you havnt already.....Its a nubafied version of CS and Those graphics they improved dont really look that much better.....The ST6 dude looks like a painting or something.....THats just my opinion
