i loved his movies espcially the music from Militia 2 i always wanted to someone get his music. I found it on gw website =] Wow he is on imdb for cs movies?? lol thats great.



I didnt think a better movie would come out after Milita 2, pandaoras box was okay and now clanwars is awesome.

I agree, the music is pretty cool.



The IMDb thing, by the way, isn't so amazing. You can submit your own movies to imdb and if there is proof that it is real they put it online. It's not like he won an award at Sundance of Cannes, heh.

Dude, did you ever play the cs_militia2_movie map? It was hugely popular for about 2 weeks after Militia 2 came out, and then it just died. Fun times, though, riding around in that stupid chopper, crouching and watching the rotors fly off by themselves, and loading up 5 CT's with paras to do a Blackhawk Down impression, hehe. :) I miss it, personally... *sigh*

Let's face it - nobody takes these films seriously, so you might as well exploit that fact.

The point is simply that, as far as CS videos go, nobody does it better. There isn't a real comparison between someone like Daniel Frome and a Hollywood Director -- they're simply working on projects too different to be compared. Can Steven Spielburg produce better films? Hell yes! Does he make better CS movies though? No, and that's the whole point.



So yeah, it's not "wow, you're the best director ever," rather it's "wow, you're the best CS machinima director we've seen." Don't confuse the two. :)



I think we can all agree he does a damn good job on his soundtracks though. Again, he's no John Williams, but with the resources available, the result is quite pleasing.

That's the thing. He's only the best CS "machinima" director out there because not many qualified people wish to spend their time doing it. I can easily say I'm the best recycled-toilet-paper-and-honey-on-canvas artist if I started doing it, because it's simply something that no one else is doing. I have no problem with him having fun and making these little movies, I just don't want to come to cs-nation and see news of an interview with this guy. I'm not complaining -- I know a lot of Cs players like this stuff and that's why it's posted -- just giving my impression of it.
