HL2 Source Thieves Busted

I hate to break it to you Commander fuzzy (especially since it might be bullshit) but some retailers are pushing their published release dates back as late as September 3rd, although most are looking at sometime in July. There's a short blurb on BeyondHalflife.com, right under the story on the hacker arrests. The thing I don't get is why Valve hasn't said something about it yet. I mean, it's already June 11th and July is rapidly approaching. Most developers don't spring a release date on the fans and retailers a couple of weeks before the game is going to ship.

Obviously I don't know, but my guess would be that every time they open their mouth about a release date they proceed to cram their foot in it. They might be a little gun shy about announcing release dates.

that model facing the wrong way bug happens because the models no longer spin around on an axis but the top half of the model turns (when direction doesn't change). Therefore when someones sitting and then rotates their view 180 degrees it'll look like they're facing to the side when they're actually looking right at you.

Nah, the online community is too strong to let some people wreck the most aniticpated game in the world..im sure it would have been solved sooner or later..and



it would be a good idea to have as they do in CS:CZ, where people can create missions..one could be a mission with the hackers...(as someone has already stated)..but i dunno what it could be..i hav no imagination



am glad they caught them all now..i dont understand why people do it anyway..why bother hacking into websites/emails etc to get games..i cnt understand what goes on in their little heads..they got whaty they deserved..and hopefully more is to come..

Did it occur to you that the online community isn't the most effective police task force, and it is quite lucky they actually contributed anything to the investigations

what does this have to do with the arresting? i dont care that those hackers got arrested and i wouldnt care if they werent...valve getting hacked does not = community getting hacked....
