how can u jobless teens whine about something which your parents can buy you using their disposable income? and for those that work for a living, $30 is hardly a lot now is it. probably less than you would spend getting drunk/wasted during a weekend.

maybe when you all get out of high school and get jobs, then youll understand the importance of profit.

I always find myself to chuckle when someone from the UK tries to putdown anyone else.

Sweet, Hostages be able to be like BEHIND YOU and attempt to run to the rescue point when they a few feet away.

Perhaps the T's will just spawn and kill the Hossies just 2 be safe.

Yes... But Valve bought the CS mod from what started out as a fan based project that certainly returned no profits. Just saying, if they're going to buy out a mod that was originally free and without profit they should expect this sort of thing and still continue to support it.

Exactly. That's all most people want is an update/fix to the brainless, stiff, and lumbering hostages.
You still don't seem to understand the situation. You have such a sense of entitlement. Sorry to break it to you, but improving AI is not fixing a bug, it's an *improvement*, and not something you are entitled to.

It seems like it's something you want. If so, go buy condition zero. Otherwise, don't expect to get it. Let me repeat, you don't *deserve* free upgrades.

Yes, that would be awesome. Hopefully if Ts kill all hostages at the beginning they automatically lose or something, or it kind of defeats the purpose.

As of this posting, CZ is the second-most played mod on Steam, with 9,822 players. While that's only about 13% of the current CS players, 72,942, it's still 3000 more people than the next-most played mod, DOD, at 6,024 players.

We're not as few as you might think.

its gonna be kind of stupid if u still get penalised for shooting a hostage, i.e. what if you want to shoot him in the shins to make sure he cant run away, but still get penalised for it ?

Valve owes you, the customer, patches that fix bugs.

And about the hostages talking to you... The amount of phrases needed to accurately tell you where a terrorist is would be immense. How would the A.I. know the difference between a crate and a potted plant? I doubt hostages would be able to say anything more than "The terrist is on your right!" and "He's dead ahead of you!"

Yes, they owe you patches like bug fixes for CS, but not new content and features - that is what you get when you buy CZ. Granted, CZ kinda sucked at first, but it has gotten better and continues to do so.

Have you played CZ lately??? They will be using the Turtle Rock AI for the hosties and they can report enemy positions and numbers. They wont say "I saw Chuck hide behind that box over there. He has mustard on his shirt", but they'll say something like "He's by the apartments" or "I saw two go down the long hall" or something like that. Thats better than them just standing there or getting caught on freaking ledges.

I cant wait for people to start bitching about CS:S

                              2) Quite simply, I'm a supporter of Valve. They've bent over backwards for years now supporting the mod community at little-to-no profit. Frankly, commitment of that magnitude deserves a little cash now and then.
yeah, I herd you could even send them tents, first emergency kit and food. You know, with the floodings it's been terrible in there.

sacarsms aside and as said in a comment, with hl2 and source ports coming they will get the money they deserve (and a lot more as steam allow them to get 100% of what you pay)

Maybe on official maps, but I don't see how the hostages will be able to report that kind of information on custom maps.
