Basically, they're updating CZ to make it a much more attractive buy, it's their way of trying to give the consumer some incentive to purchase a product. Unfortunately, I think it would've been a LOT better if they came out with all this stuff off the bat, but oh well, at least now I feel like I'm getting my $35 worth for CZ.
$35 spent playing a game for several hours and warming up for scrims and matches is a lot better than wasting $35 on liquor in one hour.
Go back and think... how much did you spend on that copy of Half-Life? I spent $20. And then I got Counter-Strike for free. Day of Defeat for free. Natural Selection for free. Firearms. The Specialists. I think I got a lot out of that $20 I spent on HL. And now I'm starting to see that I'm getting something off of CZ. It's something to be entertained by until HL2.
And CZ is single player CS. Something you can't get for free. Or $12.95.
