Pandoras Box II: Showdown Released

Team Fonzie and Gworx Pictures have finally released the eagerly awaited new scripted machinima movie, Pandoras Box II: Showdown, the sequel to the popular hit, Pandoras Box: Break In (created by the Team Fonzie crew). For those uninformed, this film has been produced by Team Fonzie & Daniel Frome and has been in production for 9 months.

3 terrorists are involved in a botched mission to steal a valuable gun. The terrorists must now fight each other to gain possession of the gun, while also avoiding the police and various members of law enforcement.



PB2 is 17 minutes long. It features playable, custom maps, a car chase (done in counter-strike!) and an original soundtrack!

Unlike a typical frag movie of sorts, this is a machinima film, or a film within a real-time, 3D virtual environment (Half-Life in this case), with Militia II being a prime example. Those who adore action, explosions, witty plots, an excellent original soundtrack, explosions, car chases done in the Half-Life engine, and even more explosions, PB II: Showdown features it all with one hand tied behind its back. Quite simply, this is one excellent flick that will surely please everybody ranging from the casual viewer to machinima buff!

Hey, great movie. I definately enjoyed it, though I had some problems with being unable to hear the talking in some areas. EDIT: My fault... Headphones were acting up.



The playable maps included are a nice bonus though:)

The directing and the final shoot out scenes were nice, but the story was hard to follow, and I watched the first one too. It didn't make sense to me how when that guy woke up in the room, he was able to knife the soldier who was holding a MP5. And why did those two cops took those two into that tunnel? There was no explaination.

No there isn't, that was very poor by militia II standards, the voice acting is so bad I actually laughed at "Sonny". The level design was quite poor as well, I know these things are hard to make but this movie is nothing to shout about, the story was atrocious.
