Avg Server Spec: Intel 2x2.8GHZ processors, 2-4GB ram based on PC2700 specs. Some of the older 2.4's still use PC2100



ATA Disks on the new boxes, the olders are all scsi.

I'm never played on a PHXX to my knowledge, but your design is horrible. Also, I do not believe your 100,000 visitors per month claim.

programs are executed from RAM, the faster the RAM, the faster data can be sent to CPU for execution. otherwise the CPU just sits there waiting for the RAM. probably the most important bottleneck in any modern computer system is the memory.

first i thought the "no way" bits sounded fake. as if he was playing to the camera. but the racism bit was an eye opener to say the least. thats why everyone remembers it. it was the most genuine part of the whole "act". wonder what he woulda said if he didnt know the camera was watching him
