ive always appreciated csn's ability to keep the blatant advertising (far cry banners) seperate from news about services that cs players may find useful (server rental ect). webites where half the content is paid advertising are most irritating.



btw, i dont think that video is in very good taste. theres too much of that racism bullshit in cs as it is. i dont care if it isnt really 'serious racism' or whatever a lot of you like to say to defend using that language about other people.that video should not be posted on a public comments page.

My team has a PHXX server, and every scrim we play the other team complains about how shitty the server is. haarrrrharrrr

PHXX is just as bad as Recon Gamer. I wouldn't scrim on a PHXX if it was given to us for free. Virtually any other company is better.

W00t - 1.6 will have 1.5 by the end of the weekend. Our coding is done, we are just wrapping up our testing.



I didn't pay for this advertisement, I just posted a news item on the site, just like any other member can do (suggested news). PHXX.NET is a community based site only. We do very little advertising on our http://www.phxx.net site for purchasing servers. While not nearly as popular as CSNATION, our 100,000 visitors a month come there for stats, Ancient Admins..ah.. unusual commentary.. our forums, etc. They already know who we are - if they wanted to buy one, they can figure out where to go.



Excuse my rather excitable staffer TSL His zealousy for us almost matches Omar's zealousy for childish remarks!

Ask any 10 cal-im+ players and 9 of them will say PHXX is worse than their own p2 266 servers.

I'm cal-im and I have nothing against them. 266 isn't a bad speed to run at. Most serious servers are still running with sticks of pc133.

I never owned one because they fucking suck. Everyone with a serious penchant for gaming knows it loses shots, has choke/loss and is generally a bad server all-around.

He was talking about a Pentium II 266MHz processor, not 266MHz DDR sticks for the memory. Nice try, though. :) Admittedly I don't have anything against PHXX servers, but I just found that amusing.
