I actually like the way they're using the large video screens in City 17... anything that makes the world around me seem more dynamic and changing is a good thing, as opposed to the still, lifeless maps we've become so accustomed to.
Also, it amused me that the headcrabbed guy kicking the barrel hit another guy in the back, deflecting it from Gordon. :) That SMG he's using against the gunship has waaaay too much recoil though, heh. Overall, nice short clips, though... don't really give away much, but show a good bit of what the game will look like.
the gamespy icon in the lower right annoyed me though.
there is a 300mb version encoded in XviD that floating around.
HL2 amazed me, extremely atmospheric. CS looked dissapointing however. maybe cos i couldnt really see anything and the map (aztec), which isnt really my favourite, looked bland and dull.
beware this isnt a screencaptured video, its recorded by a video camera on a tripod sitting at the back (or front?) of the projection theatre. so doesnt look that much better than the low res one filmed by an amateur.
