CZ Sees First Major Update

Time to restart your Steam clients. New updates are available for Counter-Strike: Condition Zero and the vanilla Counter-Strike.



Dubbed CZ 1.1, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero's first major update includes new models, new sounds and new mod-ability features. Full details and numerous screenshots are available in the exclusive CS-Nation interview with Valve's Jess Cliffe and Turtle Rock Studio's Michael Booth.



The long-requested "solid radar" functionality has been added to CS, fulfilling a promise from January.

"To use the new solid radar, simply to go Options > Multiplayer > Advanced > Radar Type."

I guess I'll be shelling out $30 for CZ now, but I wonder how I'll be sure that if I format, that I won't have to pay $30 again. Will there be some sort of record kept, like, it remembers what accounts have payed for games, so if you re-install, once you log in, it already knows you bought that game before.



Also, is the p_ump45 and P_sig550 error fixed in CZ?
