five minutes of play....CRASH!!! reconnect, get a map in (almost)....CRASH!!! Exit Steam, start up CS again....CRASH!!! (before I even got to play).
Get playing again for 15 minutes finally and the computer completely FREEZES!!!!!!!
ROLL BACK THE DAMN UPDATE untill you fix your screw-ups!!!Comment

Wow... I'd have thought more people would be affected by this (Granted it's still a LOT of us) but looking at the Status page at Steampowered.com it went from about 110K players yesterday to maybe 92K today?
... I don't see how that number is still so high unless people are really damn persistant.Comment

I'm so happy they are closing WON next week, CS/steam seems so reliable
and I hope they recall the whole update so everone will abuse the spec_HELP_TEXT name thing and the shield/primary weapon bug with grenade that they annouced fixed in the update

yeh i hate the new update... i'm running windows 98 on one of my comp and when my cs crash....it doesnt exit to desktop. it freezes and i have to restart everytime. and TFC also freezes and crashes also. bad update valve...nice job of testing the update before releasing it. im disappointedComment

Some guy posted on the forums that they are testing a patch and it should be out tonight. We shall see...
