Yeah mine did it again to me... This time there wasn't anything updating. I've also seen others in game who said they are getting some errors that crashes them to desktop.



I think this might actually be my first Steam update that is causing me a significant problem.

Same here. There are 4 others on my server getting the same thing. Going to restart the server.

Let me know if the server restart does it. Perhaps all servers just need to update for this to work. I'm really relieved though to know it's not just me, as I was worried it was some problem with my new graphics card, or the fact I had moved over a stick of memory to operate in dual channel ability a few days back.

Server was restarted and it still crashed. Before I join the server I deleted ClientRegistry.blob. I don't know if that will do anyting but, I deleted it anyway. It still crashed to desktop. I cap a screen and upload it later but, I'm sure that it is the same one everyone is getting.

Yeah, just check out the "FATAL ERROR" thread at the Steam forums for some screens... the 2nd image in that thread is what I'm getting, and I'm sure everyone else is as well.

Yeah, i just installed CS:CZ and when i clicked on Steam to play online it says, "Updating..." "Fatal Error: No public CSes logged-in"

kick ass update and also this shows why it took me 3 and 1/2 an hour to install cz/cs/hl on my games list after i formatted. kick ass update though !!!
