    ATI Vouchers Unlock CS: Source BETA

    Greg Coomer of Valve recently revealed some good news for those who have a Half-Life 2 voucher from ATI. In a Half-Life2.net forum's posting he states that those with a voucher slip will also be able to participate in the Counter-Strike: Source BETA with Counter-Strike: Condition Zero owners.
    Hi. The current plan is to make the CS:S beta open to people who have an ATI coupon, probably at the same time that it's made available to those who own CZ.
    This announcement comes after yesterday's news that the CS: Source BETA will officially begin on August 10th.

                  But did he make it clear whether the ATI coupon gets you the HL2 that comes prepakaged with CS-S or the single player HL2 version...?

                      Hahaha I feel sorry for the people with the coupons that bought CZ after Valve announced the beta... lets see how long you will play CZ now. :)

                              Well it says CS:S Beta.. which is different from CS:S.

                                  Yes, obviously. But, when one try's to use the voucher at a retail establishment, what version of the game will they receive.

                                          argh... it was one of the reasons to buy CZ just a couple of days ago, i too have a coupon from my 9600xt card ohwel, ive enjoyed CZ deleted scenes very much so far, and i like CZ better that cs 1.6... so it is still worth the 47 odd euro's

                                                  to me it looks like it's being a tad rushed cause of the doom 3 release, i don't think we would of seen any of this this early if it wasn't for doom 3
