I tried to keep it as short as possible, but I'm not very good at that. I could've made it a whole lot more elaborate though, so it's not that bad.

I've had false positives on my own machine before, and a short 3-day ban at one time, but that was due to memory consistency errors (crappy RAM) which they no longer ban for (kick only).
Anyway, a big thanks to VALVe for their awesome work against the cheaters. VALVe takes a lot of flak for a lot of things, so it's nice to see them finally getting some well-earned praise. :)Comment

It's untrue about there being only 2 false positives in VAC's history. Those are the only 2 known and detectable false positives. I'm sure there were a couple more (not many, but a couple) that were indeed false, yet not determined to be so.
