VAC Update and Special Reward

Nick Shaffner of Valve Software reports of another VAC, or Valve Anti-Cheat, update. Although a given, plenty more cheat detections have been added. The following is the full message:

Once again, VAC has been updated.



* More cheat detections added.



I would also like to reiterate that cheating is a violation of Valve's standard End User License Agreement.



Additionally, please feel free to e-mail me links to cheat sites or send me binaries that you suspect we haven't detected yet. (Note I said E-MAIL, not 'Post To The List'). I could be inclined to offer a non-monetary reward to the first person to provide me with the beta version of unreleased major cheats.

Its true. I received a reward for my help back in the HLGuard and early VAC days with the Original Developers. I can't say specifically what it is. But it was nice.

thats a great way to stop cheating.once they have the hacks they can realease a quick update to get rid of them.Thats the good thing about steam.all these people complain about valve and stuff,yet since 1.3 era theyve done a great job on the war aginst hackers,esp for cs being out this long.most companies just stop on a game and work on a new one.
