VAC Updates

Do they still update the VAC in 1.5? I still play that.

is it possible for normal cs players to sign up to the newsletter that is released with all info of updates to VAC and games etc?

The problem is if you go to any cheat sites now it says don't use ogc reborn, don't use slay0r cheat etc. All the cheaters can find out in seconds which cheats are banned and which aren't. I'm sure loads got caught out, but still theres always going be cheaters that check their cheat site before they go play just to make sure there is no new detections.



They should do silent detections. Detect everyone for 2-3 days but don't ban them immediately. Then ban them all in one go.

Agree, I guess much more hackers would get caught. We wait soooo long to see a VAC updates some times... it would be nice to see its actually really usefull when it finally comes out instead of simply catching the few who don't visit cheat websites before they go playing.

The more VAC updates the better I suppose.



I don't run into many cheaters now adays, unlike most of the time I played 1.5, which is surely a good thing.



Ah, if only some weapon changes, a few new guns and maps tossed in, and maybe, just maybe the Easter Bunny will do good for us and fix that radar.

More anti-cheat protection the better, i've never understood the need to cheat.

Maybe they should jsut say VAC is updated everyday, then actualyl update it once a week. lOl
