I'd like to see a list of people caught daily by VAC to see how useful VAC really is. It probably catches the most retarded of hackers but other than that I don't think it does much.

It has defientally been catching a lot of people lately. On the Steam forums, there is a huge increase of "I'm banned.....". Oh well, those newbs are gone :)

ROFL! i was at a server and the server crashed and came back up updated... when i rejoined the server about 4-5 people that were connecting were Disconnect from this secure server. And they were all people who swore on there life they were just good.

I believe it probably is pretty big. I rarely run into a cheater these days, which is great. Well, I wouldn't know either way, cause I make no assumptions. I assume if a player seems like he's cheating, he must just be better than me.

if i didn't agree with your original post, i'd be concerned. that being said, in jest of course, i wish more people thought under your line of reasoning.

no where else in life when someone is better than me do i scream WTH? or you hack! (cheat). people are going to be better, so why can't it be the guy who shot you? this angle of thinking makes one want to get better. or something. anyway, i agree.
