Ive got it, and its not a great game. But suffice to say the bots are very very good, so its worth the mere £16 british pounds i paid for it. Although its worth mentioning that I also bought UT2004 for £17 (~$35) so im not sure its really worth it :p

        Btw UT2004 really really rocks.

not much ppl are gunna buy this game for its content and be satisfied with it. in my case, i'd buy it in support for Valve, who supported their players for the past five years.

BTW don't compare this with UT2004 plz.. it's a TOTAlLY different game behind a TOTALLY different story. buy if u want to. just don't compare a game that was started out from a scratch (UT2K3 or 2K4) to a game that was meant to please equally the new commers and the old timers (CS:CZ).

So far so good. I will refrain from jumping on the IhateCZ bandwagon. I am happy I have something fresh to play (finally) ... and it will keep me happy until HL2 comes out.

One thing though ... Anyone else finding it to be amazingly frustrating completing the "Rescue 4 hostages" map objective?! Not hard because you can't do it based on skill, but can't do it based on my stupid bot teammates keep killing the last few remaining guys and I therefore can't get the hosties back to spawn and complete an objective ... I mean I can do it, it just takes forever sometimes. The way I got around this was flashing my teammates when they saw an enemy = ) Wow, these bots are making the game amazing like pubs with team flashes and all

Uh he was hardly comparing anything at all. At least Epic (or Atari) release their games on time...

please understand i am NOT asking for, or encouraging warez

                  but..

has steam made it impossible for people to simply burn the files and give them to your friend? it doesnt look like it would be too hard once you have hlaflife installed.. unless there are cdkey things, and it doesnt use the cs/halflife one like every other mod

(the more i think about it, the dumber my question is.. this is a game, not a mod, it would use a different cd key i guess)

(hmm.. thought about it more... you only need 1 cd key for your steam id.. they wouldnt give you more than one steam id would they? so and working cd key would be fine if thats the case...)

I really wanted to get this but it just isn't worth the money for a few new maps and bots we already tested a while back. worst part is they won't drop the price for a long time now, because it would piss off the people who already bought it. Hopefully they bring the new maps over to old CS, so I can play them, that's all I really care about.

P.S. do you guys find it laggier than the old CS?
