Will be getting a new cd key if we buy through Steam? Because if not, you should might as well buy the store version.

I have bought this game over steam. Luckily i only paid the 29 dollars + taxes (Denmark, 7 dollars extra). The single player missions with the bots are a complete disappointment. After reading one thousand and one stories and reviews about how great the new bots are, and then seeing your teammates run with their back first into the bombsite full of terrorists and getting slaughtered makes me wonder if all of the reviews were there just to fool people like myself to buy the game.

Stick to CS 1.6 and steam, the single player is BORING and useless! What kind of mission is "kill 2 people with a scout and survive the round + rescue the hostages" anyway?

My honest opinion, don't flame me.

i totally agree and support your thoughts on CS:CZ. They tried for a good game, but with so much hype and a laundry-list of release dates it ended up being a flop.

The single player stuff feels like a really, really elaborate training tutorial. It helps you get used to all the guns and tactics and teamwork and stuff so you'll have enough experience with the game... And that REALLY helps all the people who bought CZ and never played CS before, yeah, like, all 5 of them.

Then you finally start playing online to only to find retards that flash teammates, run around like headless flies, shoot hostages cuz it's fun, and you realize the single player training isn't even worth the moot point it's designed for. Of course, everyone knew that already, except the 5 dudes up there.

There isn't even any new models, and the steam version (the one I got) does not have deleted scenes.

Soooo I paid 30 bucks for a big training tutorial even though I played CS since like beta 7, and a couple new maps that can probably be dled for free anyways. I should've fed 120 ethiopian children with the money instead.

            edit: childs children, tomato potato.

I played the "Deleted Scenes" when I got the leaked version, it was really fun, lasted a few good hours. If Ritual had gone through and finished it, I think it could've been one of the best damn games...

BTW.. in the "Deleted Scenes" section, theres one level where the one Terrorist Leader is holed up in this house, but you can see him through bullet-proof glass, and another scene where you start on a skyscraper and have to get to another skyscraper, anyone beat those two? I didn't have the patience for the Skyscraper one (I think your SAS in that one), and the one with the T leader behind bullet-proof glass confounded me to no end...

                I think you mean "children."

And yes, you're probably right, but why feed hungry kids when you can have $29 for yourself?

The deleted scenes are awesome its a lot like halflife and its actually reasonably hard.

Well, if it's *that* bad, we always have CS2 to look foward to, especially since Gooseman himself is working on it.

No knowledge eh? Read back even someone else mentioned 2 posts after u saw it was 9.99 that it was just a preorder. Thats the minimum you can put down so that it will be deducted from the price when you go to buy it. I have the preorder box, I see the 9.99 sticker too. Why don't you take some time to go to bestbuy.com and also search it up, and see what the price says. Sorry, your bestbuy isn't any different from mine, if not worse :P

edit: the post above mine clears it up as well.
GODDAMN I THOUGHT I WAS SPECIAL. See...me being a person who NEVER EVER preorders...i had no idea that was just the deposit. Silly me.

*i also am not encouraging warez or hacks or ne thing*

but when the game got leaked i did go to my friends and play it there...it seemed pretty sweet, new models, new maps (29 in total) and really good bots...

when the preorder thing came out i waited for some reports on how it worked, a couple of my buddies did the steam d/l for "29.99" and were charged 39.99...

so i have given up on the game and will wait for the models to become public so i can update my 1.6 files.

When a T is named after a major department store (Sears) you know you've got a great game.

I'd rather buy Ut2k4 then CZ. If they made it like 5 dollars I would buy. But hell, its almost as much as UT2k4. And UT2K4 is hella good.
