i love the way gamespy industries' executives think anyone gives a shit about their polls. "title fight, the ultimate gaming grudge" <-- uh yeah woteva, instead of making polls, try putting more adds on your shitty site. i can still see areas of their site without flashing ads.
after clicking on the link in the news post, there were so many ads on gamespy's page, i forgot why i was visiting their site.
and for all you die hard fans, u can vote as many times as you want by just repeatedly pressing the "submit vote" button.Comment

Heh. I agree with Pharlap though. These polls are nothing more than popularity contests. A recent game might be very popular because of its wide appeal, flashy graphics, and massive ad campaign, but the core gameplay might not be a good as a relatively obscure game released 5 years ago. However, the more modern game would win because of its popularity, but may not actually be the better product.Comment

ahh... right... then how come CS is still beating them all? and who may i ask has the most online players :P:P:P CS does naturally and now we have CZ coming out this week and that's going to help a LOT except of course the competion will be over then... i saw that CS was on CNN as the most POPULAR game on the whole net, so NNN to all those other cruddy games... although it is kind of depressing that no-one on CS was prewarned of this whole competion... so i do agree that CS-Nation either needs to be more alert or maybe those guys at game spy did it perposely becuase they were afraid of CS...Comment
