I voted for CS, there's some other good games in the running though.. You can't pit Counter-strike against Tie Fighter, the genres are so different that you can't judge them on the same scale, CS should be in there with other FPS's, it is easily still the best FPS, and in that it deserves another life, but games like Myst and Tie Fighter do as well.. But how can you have Myst versus Counter-strike in the same list?

it's a not a poll for best game it's a poll for which of those games deserved to have won in its title fight or whatever. Obviously a bunch of idiots voted for unreal over CS because the new version just came out even though in its prime UT had 10 people playing.

Well I voted for UT first time round, and frankly I prefer Chrono Tigger to CS too. Sorry. UT was, and still is, just more 'plain simple fun' then CS (though CS is more rewarding) is, plus I played it for alot longer and more seriously then I've played CS. As for Chrono Tirgger, I've got some found memories of playing that game back when it first came out - again, I'm gonna have to vote against CS on this one. Don't get me wrong, I like CS, it's just that the other two games I have a greater degree of foundness for, despite that I don't play either of them now (except UT occasionally when Steam is down).

It's not the olden days any more, there is far too much competition and even more tits out there who vote for things, a game spy poll i regard not to be very accurate like any poll held on a website because you will always get those who want to stop a game by voting for any other.



Now, this site obviously wants cs to top out so get voting, if you prefer other games to cs you shouldn't really be mentioning it :P
