Is that why the Chairman of Barclays Bank PLC, the UKs largest Retail Bank advises his grown up children not to use Credit Cards? (It was in the newspapers a few months ago).
The average UK credit card holder owes 2200 pounds....thats about 4000 dollars. People in this country are sinking under a mountain of debt and only managing to pay it off until theyre well into their fifties or even older.
Easy credit ruins people's lives because they cant control their spending.
Added to that the fact that the UK base rate of interest is below 5%....how much do the Credit Card companies charge you in interest? Around the 20% mark.
