So whens hl2 coming out?

because i still have some interest in that game since it's not using a (lets see quake 1 came out in 1996, 2004 - 1996 = 8 years) engine that is 8 years old or (half life 1998, 2004 - 1998 = 6 years) 6 years old if u want to make it look good.



I'm not trying to put valve down, but i think if they're going to release this game sometime this month, it would be a bad investment for them. i don't really want to get into detail about why, one reason would be because ut2k4 is coming out soon. Also $30-$40 i beleve is a bit much for a few updates. I beleve a game like this should be at most $20.

That's how it is supposed to work. It won't get to 100% until the 23rd. Hence preloading.
