Modify that and select as read-only IIRC that'll do the trick.

Anybody else notice that the "Calculate Cache Status" button in the Games properties dialogue box is gone now? I'm not complaining or anything, just noticed it.

They never promised bots. You gotta download your own 3rd party ones like always, or wait for CS:CZ of course.

change the file properties to read only on liblist.gam and steam wont overwrite the changes

try turning off your modem, and load up steam, see if it works.

Are you able to change your email now because I forgot the pass to my email that steam is under but i know the pass to login to steam.Do you have to validate your account thru email if you have a pre existing account?

You can change it by going to Settings then it says Change Contact email..click it and enter your working e-mail...And as of right now, validating is not required at all...

I just dled steam on my 56k but i caconnect to steam ill be able to get on hi speed tommorow night.I hope they let me change my contact if they make me verify because ive had to buy hl twice because my cd key was already in use
