I like how the author writes "Valve released this update like they said they would and no problems have been mentioned thus far."
when 90% of quakenet users seem to have various problems and it's close to 22 CET now (valve said the update took place from 15:00-18:00 CET)...

Yea I have sat here for an hour launching and relaunching, rebooting and I get nothing.
Update: After about an hour and a half of trying it finally worked. Steam has been working great for me, but they still need to find a way to make these updates smoother.Comment

yea, this is just a big bandwith issue, half of the content servers were down after the network came back, now we're at peak time and everyone wants to update.-
