I'm so over this game. It's not even that it was delayed so much. But after reading all the changes this game is not appealing. Also, at the time I had no idea there was a HL2 game coming out.

      Does anyone care?

Not really, just a few people. By far HL2 is of more interest to the public.

Thank you for that amazing comment. You've proved nothing other then the fact that you illegally downloaded the unreleased Ritual version that was scrapped months ago. Kudos to you!

And to everyone else, who are you kidding? Sure its frustrating the game was pushed back a bazillion times, but if you're half the CS addict that I am, you'll be picking the game up just for the fact it has something to do with CS. Shit.. I'd buy CS toilet paper if it were available =/
i played the one that csnation had, (and yes i know all about the old warez shitty single player ritual leak) only that it was multiplayer only - the graphics are based on the same exact hl engine, the mappers have just messed with the textures of the maps to try and make it look better, like de_cz_aztec and de_cz_dust2 and they've just added new gun models, and player skins (still same graphics, none better skins than what you'll see from any decent skinner)

basically the multiplayer is just the same as cs but with different wall textures and gun models (who cant find skins/map textures off the net?) and why on earth would you wanna play 5 bots on de_cz_dust2 on the single player bit when you can play 5 real people? basically its waste of money and youll see that when you buy it, you mightaswell cancel you cs:cz preorder and see the reaction from the cs community before you waste cash - theres always HL2 (winner)

the main question is...does it have new skins or not?
For the single player 'deleted scenes', yes. I'm not quite sure if they are going to integreate them with the multiplayer.

I'm gunna get it just cuz the voices inside my head are telling me to.

Because some people have crappy connections and want to play without uber lag, or dont want to play with hackers or want to practice aim/tactics while being shot at or not (see Bots), or cant dl 1.6 in any reasonable amount of time, or want to play with a couple friends on a small LAN without connecting to the internet, or feel that it is their partiotic duty as an American to protect the world from scruffy terrorists who wear red bandanas or sunglasses, or like turky more than roast beef.

There's something terribly familiar about this news. Seriously though, I hope Vivendi's finally gotten their collective ass in gear and plan to actually release the game this time. Fingers crossed!
Why are you blaming Vivendi when it's Sierra and VALVe's fault? Vivendi has hardly anything to do with those two other than owning 51%+ of the companies.

one more thing, i like the way they have just put cs on the beginning of a pile of *&%! to make cs addicts mindlessly buy and preorder this, its just a quick and easy way to make money, from the Turtle Rock Studio's version (the one thats gonna be coming out) im suprised valve think this thing is worth money

and yes when it comes out you will be able to download it via steam (wether you wanna give your credit card details to them or not is up to you cof *hl2 leak* cof) at a price, but it is like 500mb so you'll need a good connection

CS-Nation has received an official copy of the game from Vivendi.
So rizzuh, any changes from the Turtle Rock Studio version that was reviewed? Are you allowed to tell us anything?

Vivendi doesn't own any of Valve, they just have contracts to release the game worldwide. it's sierras job to make lots of copies and send out to retailers, Vivendi is the one who tells them when to do that. we're near to end their financial year, and now they have to to pull out some average games, with good names this time.

so your gonna spend 40 bucks to buy some offline bots, ok, then why not download the many bots for cs 1.6 (which will work offline and LAN as soon as steam works offline, which may well be done before cs:cz comes out) u can practice tacs easily in scrims and even jus with ur team, and if you cant dl 1.6 if you have what is called a friend, they can burn it on a disc If ya gonna be practicin without gettin shot your gonna get a shock when you actually do the things against live players - its been tried and tested - if your gonna practice doing something the best subject is the actual subject, you dont get the same feeling shootin a bot that dont shoot back from the adrenaline/reflex you do in a real cs match/public

yeah gimme those bots already... I'm so tired of trying to practice my skills playing with morons online!

oh and btw. - csbot is FAR SUPERIOR to any other bot out there. sorry to say, but even the beta was better.

If it isn't TOO expensive, I'd pick it up, but if it's like any other new game which usually is priced around $50 then It's not worth it at all. I'd pay around $30 for it and that's about the highest I'd go. CS should drop to be one of those $9.99 games and CZ should be around $20-30 as the engine/technology that was used to create the game is pretty old and dated and has been thoroughly paid for.

Anyway, I hope CSNATION reviews this "final" copy and gives us some good screens and whatnot for this game. I'm looking forward to it, it's a about time CS gets some spice.
