D**n retarded kids now... fighting to death now... how is the world going end is because of some dumb kids and their weird parents buying guns and bombs for their kids. Every parents should ALEAST keep some mind over their kids mental state befor buying even a paintball or airsoft gun.

yeah i agree, gooch,. Im not a minor, and i think ppl who say that games arent to blame for violence are only half correct. i think that some ppl. as someone mentioned earlier, are violent. or better said not "stable". obviously some kids want to recreat in real life what they see on movies, and play in games, so they do. not ALL kids/ppl do but SOME do.



so anyone who uses either extreme is wrong.



i think that kids shouldnt play it either. my younger bros are 17 and 14 and they have fun playing it. i have the blood turned off, simply because of personal beliefs. whatever. they are healthy enough to know its a game.



i guess it helps that my parents wouldnt ever buy them a gun.



My biggest beef with the writer of that article is why did they say "catholic canadian". lol. im not Catholic...but thats really lame. who cares what religion they were!?

I have a child's mind and somehow a adult's mind conficting in my head but most times I know when to play and the times to get real, thats with the minds is cause I think is me a teen so I would have to understand problems like most kids should do now or aleast listen to real logic and not act stupid.

Reading things like this make a person like myself who likes CS and firearms(own a MAK-90, non-modified and deer hunt with it, LEGALLY FYI) just feel completely naseated. The child should be put in a juvenille detention center until he's 18 and the mother put in jail for a couple of years, without a doubt.



Sadly it's crap like this that extremist politicians get an excuse to champion gun bills/video game restriction bills to be passed to further infringe on us law abiding gun owners and responsible gamers. We can't allow one incident to change an entire precidence for some people's foolishness. However we do need more AWARENESS and knowledge of these things to keep them from happening and how they can be stopped thru firearm/hunter saftey education and training programs. We also need more parents to start paying attention to thier friggin children more and whoop their butts like my parents did when I even considered doing something wrong. Spare the rod, spoil the child. Believe it or not we are raising one fubared generation of children because of that folks, a generation that will someday lead this country!!! X_x *gasp*



That whole story just screams parental neligence and just plain stupidity, we are just lucky to hear no one actually got hurt before something tragically did happened.

This is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read. Jail time should definitely be supplied to all parties (whether Juvenile detention or actual prison time). It's sad to see things like this go on, I sure hope no one plans on doing such things any time soon, and if they do prosecution is just waiting at the door.

I especially was disturbed on that webpage above by the comment "if you can find one of these guns, get it! its just too bad clinton banned them twice, really hard to find......" so scary, the fact that anybody actually feels they "need" a gun nowadays shows just how paranoid they really are.

That's the problem, these kids are too stupid to differ right from wrong, so it's left up to the parents, and when the parents are even stupider and less responsible than the kids, then you end up having 15 year olds walking around with assault rifles.



Gooch, that's a good thing you're doing for you kid. It's good to know that there are still responsible parents out there. Although, kids shouldn't be completely isolated from the world, they need to see the good and the bad, and the parents need to teach their kids the difference.



KTRICK7, you raised a really good point, too often there are incidences involving violence and minors which are blamed on games, or music for example, although these are usually used as scapegoats to divert attention away from their parents or society, they can be contributing factors with some individuals.

I respect that. I under stand stuff like that even tho i don't kno what it's like to have a son. I have 9 bro/sisters so i kno how hard it is to raise them.

i dont think this really relates with cs at all other than a place for the kids to connect. my friend owns the romanian version of the ak-47. he is 17 yrs old. he plays cs, but he got it before that. he doesnt do anything with it, just for show. i dont think he even has bullets for it.

i can see a parent buying an ak for a child. i dont think its too crazy either. the parent letting a kid send it to another person through the mail... thats stupid. not all kids are the same, since i was 10 ive been going on 32. i always hated the "stupid kids" excuse as much as a case like this blaming cs.
