I think your getting Counter Strike 2 confused with CS using Source. Ive played it on source and its lovely, ragdolls, awesome water effects and pinsharp textures. However its not CounterStrike2 because its literally CS with sex.

Well, still ATI should have not opened their big mouthes about HL2 and the bonus... I will still say they did false advertise, but Valve just isn't doing shit about HL2, and having to have the fucking FBI in the matter makes it worst... I will be happy to see HL2 when it comes, when the graphics on it are out of date, crappy look, and required Dos to play it...Comment

The hell with ATI now. I don't see any good reason to support them anymore. If they can't get their act together I will not buy from them. 420 is the core code name, the R3XX is equal to the 9X00 series card
and i have to say God bess ATI i have a 9800pro that is on stock cooling @ 430/360 their canadian and they make the best damn cards in the world have the best drivers and they have a contract with Valve, what more could you want :)Comment

This is pure speculation...
Remember back around the time of September 30th, when valve said they would be offering subscriptions? (all the idiots got mad cause they thought they were going to have to pay monthly for CS) Well in order for VALVe to make subscriptions look like a good deal is to have a new game come out every 1-3 months, noone would buy the subscription otherwise. So, VALVe will probably release HL2 around June/July and CS2 AND TF2 around September/October, maybe a little later than that but the idea is that VALVe will have to release them close together. It is very possible that CS2 will be bundled with the next generation cards. Personally I am going to wait for at least the R480 core from ATi, (I bought a 9800np last July so i could play HL2 well, XD)
and Linux...
if you actually looked at the prices, some manufacturers sell their cards without the vouchers about the SAME PRICE.
Don't go VALVe bashing or ATi bashing, they are 2 of the best companies in the world, they try hard and put a lot of effort into their workComment
