CS:CZ With Sierra

My guess would be that Sierra have had the gold master for some time but Steam wasn't ready for the CS:CZ release. (eg. Updates to fix the earlier stolen code, ability to securely hande credit card sales, possible addition of peer-to-peer game file sharing, etc.)



I'd expect that Sierra have an agreement with Valve to not publish until Steam is able to handle the pressure. Of course, whether we ever find out for sure is another matter. Valve are as ever, keeping rather 'tight-lipped' about their plans...

Something big should start on Steam this week.

A dev guy said this about a dod patch in the DoD forums:

I'm not saying when this will be out, as its not up to us. A lot of stuff has to go out on Steam, and Dod has been getting a lot of attention lately. We will roll updates out as soon as is humanly possible.

What is Sierra waiting for?

BRIBES! we must all start bribing sierra so that they will release the game... this is clearly what they are waiting for, and their master plan all along! The let us know that a great game is waiting there for us, its simply a 'come and get it'



Now that i think about that last statment in quotes... maybe they really are saying 'come and get it' to try and get some hacker to start attacking and trying to get to the game to 'pre-release' it to the public. Then they can catch the bastard.



BTW.. whatever happend to whats his name the guy that fucked us with HL2?

I say fuk Valve for ruining such a great idea. I think Gear Box had the best idea and concepte of CZ. CZ was suppose to be a explosive single player with smart AI and new models and maps.



All we get is hack job's which a mod team can do. How pathic from a professional company.
