I'd like to hear what OCGL will be doing about cheat detection. Then I'll bite.

I just found it funny that sYs73m is an admin for OCGL, which is why this post is so biased.

It surprised me that this league even got onto CSN news until I realized the person posting it is an admin.
Happened after the fact that I posted. I was invited early this morning. I had no intention of being invited when I was doing the post, I was mearly interested in the new league that they wanted to start, go take a cold shower guys..

The sad thing is, you guys have to sit around and pick something to death. Cal had to start somewhere just like we do. Give us a chance.

I don't know why you guys think CAL has reached a flash-point but I for one think CAL is going to be going strong for at least 2 more seasons. Nonetheless, I'd have to say this league could potentially work if you continue to keep it simplistic.

CAL started as DOG... UGS started as RGL. These were the 2 best leagues and still are ~

CAL is backed by the CPL which, next year will have $100,000 first place price.

UGS is backed by Cyber X which, on Jan 7th will kick off its finals in las vegas and has a $100,000 first prize.

TGL, EGL, XGL, PGL, OGL, OGCL who?

maybe come back and post this news again when they have more then a site that took 5mins to put up. It just looks bad.

What do you expect from us? Do you want us to perfect the UNDER CONSTRUCTION page? Does it offend you that much? Why do you have to cut us down. CAL is falling apart, CPL is a tournament, nothing that has to do with a league. NOT EVERYONE can be in CPL anyways, at least and be good at it. You should read what you are saying before you post it. Give us time, our layouts/user interaction, and flexibility will will astonish you, I kidd you not.

you really don't have any room to talk before you even have a web site launched. besides the unprofessional look of the web site (which I admit I will reserve judgement on until it is completed), there are a couple other things that rub me the wrong way.

if anyone else went and made a "coming soon" page that proffered no information to us about what they were all about, would they also get a huge advertisement on csn? doubtful. the idea that this news post was unbiased is laughable.

furthermore, in order to have two admins at every match, you would have to have... well, a lot. so who's going to regulate all the regulators?

maybe it's just me, but something about this whole thing just smells bad. count me out.

p.s. not a mention of this league on gotfrag or cscentral yet, guess they haven't invited any of their news staff to be admins yet. go figure.

Wow since when? I must have missed something due to the fact that they have so many teams that they have to have 5 divisions just for counter-strike plus the many others they have for other games. But I can understand how that could be misconstruded for "falling apart"

CAL isn't falling apart. The new division will help level the playing field in current divisions and in the new division.

" CAL is falling apart, CPL is a tournament, nothing that has to do with a league."

CAL is backed by the CPL. Frank Nucio runs CAL and is 2nd in charge for CPL.
