CS:CZ is MIA

After CS-Nation's exclusive Counter-Strike: Condition Zero preview, we haven't heard much on the game. Although the release was planned for November 18th (today), the game clearly isn't coming out. Planet Half-Life and CS-Nation are both left wondering when the game is coming out.



Hopefully Sierra or VALVe will release some words about the game's release shortly.

Yea well, i was really disappointed by the lack of cz out today... I was really lookign forward to it. Hopefully valve or vivendi or some1 will tell us when its coming out

Look on ebgames. They have had their release date for dec 14th for a while. I trust ebgames more than any other source.

Oh my fucking god. They have a Counterstrike Condition Zero for Xbox, why isnt it out for PC? I mean really, I think the PC gamers should get it first, because Counterstrike is and always WILL be a pc game, even if you port it to the console. Its, like, in the coding. CS was meant to be a pc game.

It's just a port of Counter-Strike. There's no Condition Zero content.

Quite honestly, I'd rather them not give out release dates, more often than not the "release date" for a game is not met (much like the whole HL2 drama), game development is a bumpy road like that, one small thing can screw up a release date. I just hope nobody comes in and flames Valve for this though (much like PHL's comments area), it's just childish at this point. All we can do is hope for a release soon, and hope that CZ turns out great.

Pretty much makes it pointless buying a retail copy, as the reason I was going to do that was to save myself downloading it all.



How long before it's original release date, did Valve announce Half-life 2 was delayed?

sorry, but if any business that I delt with was a bad as valve about sticking to schedules, I'd have left them along time ago. Thus I guess it's a good thing Valve is self funded, I'd be fuck'n blowing up if I had interest in the company. Has valve ever released anything on time? CS used to get updated on time, but then valve took over...and well, ok, I'm done. Since we'll never see CS:CZ HL2 TF2 or any of the other things valve has promised us, What other games are you guys looking forward to being *actually* released?
