i have played the ritual version of cz on my friends comp. believe me; it is the real thing. very glitchy though.

In any event, the Ritual models will appear in the Deleted Scenes portion of the game (read Rizzuh's review of the supposed Gold version), and anyone can just rename and use those models for regular C-strike. So I can't imagine that Valve could be reworking the game yet again due to fan requests, especially when they have Steam to make any updates or changes they need otherwise. I have to concur with the people who suggested that it might be due to Steam probably not being ready for the release of CZ for download. Or then again, Vivendi could have nixed it to release it closer to Christmas, as quite a few retail outlets seem to suggest (online and brick & mortar). But it sure would be nice to know, one way or the other.

Additionally, the models for CS for the XBOX (which IMO actually look better, along with the textures, than what we have in 1.6 right now) are map-specific, are often different from the standard models for 1.6, and are sometimes identical to screens of models from Ritual's work on CZ.Comment

I was mostly referring to the free ocarina of time game for zelda pre-orders, which I would consider free, and how they constantly give more than they need to, like metroid 1 being included in metroid prime. Yeah, you could say they're old games, but ocarina of time is just as old as half-life, and that's not free.Comment
