steam........ hahahahaahaha it truly stinks, one has to use something as nonworking as steam in order to even play cs, it is amazing that one has no option than to use steam when one wants to play cs, it truly smells like nazi-germany or stalin-soviet, hello, isnt this the 21 st century?????? The feeedom of choice is gone, this reminds me of bill "lamer" gates and microsoft monopoly, did he buy valve then??? Im for one refuses to be led in a leash like some biatch dog, ive tried it and it is like a hossie rescue plan on Siege manufactured by some nOOOb, ie it does not work, steam sucks, the end. Noone likes it and it should be removed, it couldnt be any more obvious that NOONE likes this monstrocity of a program, it truly reminds me of some postwar soviet invention.

i like steam its pretty good. And with the updates coming every wednesday, it should be in top shape by december or something like that

Its valve's fault if it takes 6 hours+ to patch a server with a small update.

Great. I can no longer use Direct3D mode, which is the only mode my graphic card can get more then 10FPS on (on Software mode it struggles to get 10FPS, and it can't even run OpenGL at all). I get the same error everytime, about the video mode not being supported.





Thanks a ****ing bunch Valve. Now I can't play CS at all.

Didn't take me that long. Took 2 minutes. Maybe the server operator for the server you play on is not to bright.

I should add that I am glad that they fixed the "load failed" error which I get frequently.

I downloaded the update, and now my nice and shiney RealBot wont work anymore. I keep changing the .gam file to the RB dll, but whenever I start CS, it changes back. Guess I'll just buy CZ to get my Bot knife-fight low-grav roll-the-dice respawn bonanza.
