I think the point inferred from this interview is that CSX it isn't just CS for the Xbox, its a new version of the most popular multiplayer game ever for the console market, with all the differences that entails. From how and who you play it with, from accessability to setting to all the little upgrades they've included. Whether or not you can get it for free on the PC is completely irrelevant. Done right, as it seems to have been, $45 is chump change for a game of this class for the console.

I'm getting very tired of this. Go to your preferences page to uncheck Xbox news. We're going to start deleting the anti-Xbox trolls. If some Xbox fans came here and started trolling the PC then they'd be banned in a heartbeat.



Attack the game when it's released. After Gamespot and whoever else have reviewed it. That way your comments aren't entirely baseless. But to simply attack a title because it has a port on a specific platform is completely and utterly mindless. In fact, it ruins the chance for any conversation. It ruins the point of the comments pages. To have one person argue in reality and the other argue in damn fanboyism is the antithesis of useful discussion. Either censor yourself until the game is out, stop reading Xbox news or prepare to have your comments or account removed.



The CSX fans and future players are part of the community, just like you and I.



Starting now, Xbox trolling in Xbox categories is the same thing is esports trolling in esports categories. It's a two week ban, at the least.



Please note that trolling doesn't mean "any negative comment." We're not nazis here and value a good discussion, but just like esports topics were overrun with "clans r sux," xbox topics are being overrun with the same kind of comments. We fixed esports and we're going to fix Xbox too. If we don't take action then our comments pages will simply begin to suffer from an idiot overload.

There's obviously a big problem in Counter-Strike with cheating (less so now with the Valve Anti-cheat).

the greatest amazon review ever was the one over the official strategy guide. Some guy said the guide couldn't make you half as good as OGC and to get that instead, and he even threw in the fact that OGC is "free".

wow. the cs cz models which supposedly "didnt work" show up on the xbox. what an absolute shock... valve, why are we, the pc gamers who made the game great, being (again) kicked to the curb? first, you give the ps2 a super asthetic upgrade for hl, (im talking twice what the hd pack is) and now you are doing it again with cs for the xbox. very dissapointing. *shakes head*
