Microsoft and VALVe Software recently hosted a Counter-Strike XBox event in San Francisco, and CS-Nation was there! We'll have more info later this week about what happened, but first we have an interview with Counter-Strike co-creator Jess Cliffe.

CS-Nation's asspennies: Do you anticipate any switchers? People switching from the PC to the Console, and vice versa?



Jess Cliffe: It could happen, I don't see why not. Like I said, it's about preference, some people will like the controller better than the keyboard and mouse, or sitting on the couch instead of upright and next to the screen. I love our setup with multiple consoles and couches, and I can't imagine a similar setup with PCs being as accessible.

But seriously, what is the point of getting CS for the Xbox? I can see getting it if you don't have or want a computer, but if you already have CS, what are the benefits of having to use a more primitive controller?
