I'm getting very much the exact same problem, just for reference I bought that Gold Pack or whatever it was. Anyways it was the 4 game combo pack that came with 3 cd keys and now only 1 works online. If this was intentional that's BS, i bought that pack because of 3 cd keys for online play, it worked that way on WON and it used to work that way on Steam and it still should.

another update , pity they still don't have enough bandwidth to make the updating quicker , for some people a 200k update using the steam updater can take 2-3 hours.

CD Key's seem to be having problems with the Half-Life Gold Pack's and Half-Life Generation packs , nobody knows why. Thousands of angry gamers have been complaining about CD Key problems. All we can do is wait.

My CD-Key was stolen or something! i can't play! It says my CD-Key is alredy used!! BUT I BOUGHT Half-Life Gold Pack it costed me so much.. FUCK YOU STEAM these are the golden words

hm the problem is everywhere i find these "fix" for my problem: You have probably created more accounts...BUT I HAVE NOT...so i didnt created multiple acounts...and i have bought HL pack legaly and it was not cheap...what shoould i do?

You should have realised by now that Valve no longer gives a damn about the community and only wants money. There was no need for Steam,b ut hey, they can make money over it, so they put it in. People's CD Keys are buggering up, and does Valve care? No. Are they doing anything about it? No. Why? Because they a) don't care at all and b) would very much like you to go out and buy HL/CS again so they get yet more money.



At the end of the day, CS is no longer a community-driven 'free' mod. It's now pretty much totally controlled by Valve, and all they want is more cash.

most likely..... but don't count on them fixing anything major any time soon. Iv'e lost count of how many times iv'e had to type spec_menu 0 in the console to be able to type when im dead just because of a stupid obvious bug that valve will never fix.
