Well... my steam doesn't want to load now....

anyone know how to fix the problem yet? I played steam this afternoon, and now when i click to launch and enter name and password, it just sits there frozen. Anyone find a fix yet? It tried restarting computer several times but it does not work.

Mine does the EXACT same thing! Would this have to do with the content provider or something like that?

Mine also cannot launch. Well I'm quitting CS now, first of all, it's getting boring after playing for almost 4 years now and with these irratating updates.

I'm moving on with Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield, I'll definitely get back on Counter-Strike when Half-Life 2 gets released and has it's own engine. Then Counter-Strike 2 will be made later on and we'll get all the new features, models, and weapons for CSX which we were suppose to get for the CZ. Then that'll be the day, I say GOTO HELL STEAM !!!

This is lame i just unistalled redownloaded and reistaleld and im still having problem with steam



i click cs on the games list and it says preparing to play cs... loading

then the game loads but right when it should load up everything like

New game

find servers

options etc...

it says half life launcher error so i cant play

That usually the problem when Steam has been / needs to be updated and it hangs on launch. It's in the root Steam\ directory, by the way.

Yes, i'm so damn impatient, 3 hours is not enough time to get Steam update. Jesus, if not my clan i would be playing some other Steam-free game already...
